The Dallas Burlesque Festival began in 2008 as a vision of Missy Lisa to bring together some of the best burlesque in the world in one showcase for adoring Dallas fans.

That first year packed the historic Texas Theatre, and it has gotten bigger every year with the help of scores of other hardworking individuals.

Missy has grown the festival into an annual blowout event featuring three unique shows over two days as well as industry workshops for burlesque enrichment and education for all.
